Mit nur 68 Jahren ist der Manga-Künstler / Mangaka Toriyama Akira am 1.3.2024 verstorben, wie erst heute bekannt wurde. Herr Toriyama ist vor allem bekannt für seinen Dragon Ball Comics, der zweiterfolgreichsten Manga-Serie in Japan überhaupt (!), aber auch für Sand Land, Dr. Slump sowie Charaktere aus den Videospielen Chrono Trigger und der Dragon Quest Reihe.
